Ľudská identita dospela do krízového bodu. Umelá inteligencia exponenciálne rastie a klimatická kríza je čoraz naliehavejšia a nezvratná. FREM je unikátnym experimentálnym dokumentom, ktorý odráža podobu nového sveta a zobrazuje svet prírody za hranicami ľudského vnímania skutočnosti.
Film je reakciou na súčasnú vlnu posthumanistického myslenia spôsobeného rozvojom technológií a umelej inteligencie rovnako ako klimatickou krízou. Ľudský druh si začína uvedomovať svoju nedôležitosť a pominuteľnosť a ľudská identita sa ocitá v kríze. Snímka FREM sa pokúša tento pocit reflektovať a vytvárať odľudštený a odcudzený pohľad na krajinu a prírodu za hranicami ľudského vnímania skutočnosti. Kusé myšlienky a útržky dialógov, rôznorodá hudba prerušovaná ruchmi a glitchmi a zdanlivo zmätená, neukotvená kamera vytvárajú znepokojivú filozofickú úvahu nad limitmi antropocentrického myslenia.
